How can we help?

Answers about the platform, the operating model and how to get started.

Frequently asked questions

The questions we are asked most often, in full.

What is Koopfy?

Koopfy is a Commerce Infrastructure Platform. We provide the infrastructure required to operate a global e-commerce business — checkout, payments, order management, fulfillment, logistics, customer operations and the tooling around them — as a single connected system.

Is Koopfy a payment processor?

Payments are one layer of Koopfy, not the whole platform. We provide payment infrastructure and orchestration, but the platform also covers checkout, order management, fulfillment coordination, logistics, post-purchase operations and analytics. Merchants adopt Koopfy to run the operation, not only to process transactions.

How does Koopfy’s Commerce Infrastructure work?

The merchant keeps its brand, storefront and customer acquisition. When a customer checks out, Koopfy powers the checkout, processes the payment, creates and manages the order, coordinates fulfillment with connected logistics partners, delivers tracking to the customer and handles post-purchase operations such as support, refunds and returns — all in one platform.

Can I keep my own brand and my own store?

Yes. That is the model. You keep your domain, storefront, brand, products, marketing and pricing strategy. Koopfy operates the infrastructure behind the transaction and the operational lifecycle. We also integrate with existing storefronts, including Shopify and WooCommerce, and provide APIs for custom setups.

Does Koopfy support physical products?

Yes. Physical products are supported end to end, including order management, fulfillment coordination, shipping, tracking and delivery visibility. Product categories are reviewed and approved before activation.

Does Koopfy support digital products?

Yes. Digital products are supported, with automatic access release after payment confirmation and auditable delivery records. Subscriptions and recurring billing are supported through our payment infrastructure.

How does fulfillment work?

Once an order is created, Koopfy coordinates fulfillment through qualified fulfillment centers and connected logistics partners. The order status, shipment and delivery events are reported back into the platform, so the merchant sees the operation from order creation to delivery in one place.

How does logistics work?

Koopfy coordinates shipping through connected carriers and logistics partners. Tracking codes are issued and shipment events flow back to both the merchant dashboard and the customer. Routes, carriers and delivery windows vary by market and product category.

Who handles customer support?

Post-purchase customer operations run inside the platform: tickets, order questions, delivery incidents, refunds and returns are handled with the full order context attached. The operational split between Koopfy and the merchant depends on the commercial arrangement in place.

How does the Merchant of Record model work?

Where the applicable commercial and legal structure supports it, Koopfy can operate as the Merchant of Record / principal merchant for the relevant commerce flow, centralizing payment operations, order management, fulfillment, logistics and post-purchase processes. This applies to the flows covered by that structure and is defined per merchant during onboarding — it is not a blanket status applied to every transaction.

What markets does Koopfy support?

Koopfy supports operations across North America, Europe, Latin America, Asia and Africa, with cards, wallets, bank transfers and local payment methods in the buyer’s currency, through our payment infrastructure and connected providers. Availability varies by market, product category and account configuration.

What payment methods does Koopfy support?

Cards, digital wallets, bank transfers, local payment methods and alternative payment methods, with payment orchestration across providers. The methods available in a given checkout depend on the buyer’s market and the merchant’s configuration.

How do I connect my store?

Through our native integrations for platforms such as Shopify and WooCommerce, or directly via our API and webhooks for custom storefronts. You can also use a custom domain for the checkout so the experience stays inside your brand.

What is required to activate my account?

Register on the platform, submit your business information and complete our verification process (KYC/KYB). We also review your product categories, business model and delivery and refund policies. Once approved, you can configure products and start operating.
